Week two of the diet. Incorporating the E word, EXERCISE

I want to take this slowly, day by day to achieve total success.

Now that I have all the food planed out it’s time to incorporate the E word, EXERCISE!!

Remember, the ultimate goal is for this is to be a long term resolution. I want to start out with a small amount of exercise and work my way up and make it more challenging each week. I do agree cardio exercises are good, no doubt. For me at this point, I feel like I am doing some cardio by running around with my 6 year old. I don’t think that’s the way I want to go right now. My goal is to build strength and SHAPE my body. The way to do that is by doing pilates. I will be incorporating pilates in the future. Right now I want to start out by dancing the twist. Do the twist for at least five minutes or three songs every day. We can’t work on our waist without working on our arms. I am going to do fifty arm rolls forward then fifty backward. Not bad, Ha!!!

Have a strong week.

It's all about The Little Rascals

The Little Rascals are so cute. They are always up to something with their great imagination. They are never at a loss for what to do next.

The Cisco Kid is back in town ready to uphold the law.

Beans is now in control.

Beans is now the law and The Cisco Kid is calling his Lawyer.
Have a great weekend.

Show us where you live Friday, It's Master Bedroom week

This week Kelly is asking to see Master Bedrooms.
I was trying to go for the French county cottage look with different patterns and very heavy wood and stone.
I hope I captured that look and also I wanted it to feel like a Master Bedroom fit to escape in.

I found the old frames and thought they were so pretty. I just had to do something with them. Since they are odd sizes, I decided to hang them and had paint some flowers right on the wall.

I didn't think looking a the rod was very nice, so I covered it with red vine flowers.

I made the top of this table out of a 1 inch round piece of wood, tumbled marble on the edges and broken tile.

This old piano bench makes a great side table.

Lazy days of Summer

Yesterday was a totally lazy day. We never got out of our P.J.’s The Cisco Kid Played all day in his bedroom while I did laundry. I also looked up some family members on Facebook. It was really great to see some pictures of my cousins and second cousins that I haven’t seen in about ten years. Everyone looked really great.

When the Chief came home about 5:30, The Cisco Kid went nuts. He was literally climbing on the Chief head and doing tricks through the house. I guess there had to be some kind of breaking point for a six year old to lose control. The Chief got the full effect.

Lazy? no not him....ME!!!

The Chief get REVEVGE!

Time to eat dinner so he could start to chill out.
Maybe not!
