What keeps us ticking

Today is "What would your children say?" Let's hear about the silly, funny, scary, hilarious, etc. things you children say and do. I have always known that children are very observant and pick things up quickly.
The Cisco kid wanted me to go in his room and play a game with him. I told him to let me get a cup of coffee first and I’ll be right in. He asked why I need my coffee. I told him that it wakes me up and gives me energy. Quicker than you can think about it, he said, Milk and Chocolate milk wakes me up and gives me energy. Red bull wakes daddy up and gives daddy energy.
That cracked me up. He knows what we drink. Thank goodness I only drink coffee and the Chief drinks Red Bull.
Cheers to health and happiness.

Bird going for a ride

This is so funny! We came home today from our vacation. Before we left the Hotel the Cisco Kid wanted to drive the remote controlled boats they have at the Hotel. There are seven boats to choose from and the Cisco Kid happen to pick the boat with the bird. Check out this video and the boat he is driving.

Mickey

Last night we went into epcot and ate at The Land Restaurant. It's a revolving restaurant that rotates as you watch thunder and sand storms, prairie with old farm house and rain forest. They are known for their healthy meals. Added bonus are the characters that wonder around and make all the little ones happy.

Mickey signing the Cisco Kids menu.

Chip or Dale? I cant tell them apart.

This is Kimberly, our wonderful food server.

The food was wonderful! First she brought us a great salad with fresh baked potato bread. Then this platter of food came out with the grilled steak was served with roasted potatoes. The rotesserie turkey was served with corn bread stuffing and cranberry sauce. The grilled mahi mahi fish was served with grilled vegetables.

OH! MY! The desert. this was soooooo good. I have never had blueberry buckle before. I have got to recreate this at home.

The Cisco Kids desert was mud and dirt with worms. The mud was Chocolate pudding. The dirt was chocolate crumbs and worms were gummy worms. He loved it.
Today is our last day. Not sure what we are going to do.

Rainbow

I just had to post this rainbow. I see the end, but where is the pot of gold? How often do you see one like this. At the end of this rainbow there is a parking lot.

Blizzard Beach

I am not a happy camper!!!!! I deleted all my pictures from Blizzard Beach except for one by accident. I am devastated. I love my pictures.
I will have to tell you all about it without pictures. This was a great water park. There are lots of slides, ranging in size from XS to XL. We spent most of our time on the medium slides and the lazy river. The choices are tube, toboggan or a family tube. The lines moved rather fast. not much of a wait. But, there are alot of stairs to climb, there are at least ten flights of stairs for each time you want to go down a slide. We walked up ten flights six times or I should say, I walked up six times. The Cisco Kid and the Chief took the Ski Lift one of those times. I had a great picture of that. "DARN". It started to thunder and lightning so they closed down the park. We were there for three hours at that point. We decided to go back to the hotel and get some R&R before we headed to Hollywood Studios tonight.

My one picture of the Cisco Kid and the Chief on the Lazy River.

Hollywood Studios here we come.

Our day at epcot

This morning we went to epcot. It was hot today. Disney is real good about making the wait lines cooler by having A/C blasting. It wasn't that crowded and the longest wait time was 30 minutes.

Here are a couple of attraction. The Cisco Kid was so excited he met the height requirement so he could ride Test Track. This was a great ride. Not only was it a great ride, but it was very informational. It informed us on how every aspect of the cars are tested for safety and reliability.

We were behind this car. We are going to go through their tests for brakes, suspension, acceleration etc.
The three of us are in the front seat and the Cisco Kid is covering his eyes because their was a trucks headlights headed for us.
The attraction, The Seas with Nemo & Friends is so cute.

Tomorrow we are off to Blizzard Beach.

The Balloon Ride

The balloon ride was allot of fun. We flew 400 feet up in the air. It was a helium filled balloon that was tethered to a pulley. It would release so we could go up. The view was great. Other than the wind picking up a little and causing the balloon to drift off center, it was a mellow ride. I could see the possibility of that ride getting scary if the wind picked up. This is worth trying.

This is where the balloon is tethered to the pulley.
The landing pad.

After the balloon ride we went to the Rain Forest for dinner.
Dinner was really very good.

This was a cute little train. The Cisco Kid loved riding it.

These are a couple of games they have at Disney Quest. I have to say I really didn't like the place. Its a very, very large game place. Five stories of games to be exact.
The guys are riding a Buzz Lightyear bumper cars. These cars could pick up rubber ball that they had scattered around and the passenger "gunner" could put them in a shoot and shoot them at another car. They said it was a blast. You see the Cisco Kid driving.
My cybermen playing a virtual game.

Tomorrow we plan on spending the day at epcot. We'll see what adventures we can do there.
