New FREE Web Site

If you love crafts and the creative talents of many crafters as much as I do, you will enjoy this new web site I have been working on. "Show off your Creation"

I enjoy looking around and finding new and talented people that have perfected their artistic creations. There is no better gift than to find a unique and original creation to make a perfect impression.

I would love to promote all the people that have perfected their wonderful talent by having them enter their site FREE on “Show off your Creation” web site.

If you know of someone who has a wonderful ability to create something special please send them this way. It would be a great contribution to help support the hard working and talented crafters.

Dont forget about tomarrow!!!! "What would your children say?" Wednesday, is a real good laugh for mid week.

Almond cups

Every Monday I am going to post a recipe from my Christmas cookie collection. There are a total of twelve recipes I will be sharing.

I have already posted about my Almond Crescents and no cook S'moors. This week is Almond cups.
Almond filled cups topped with a cherry. This is the third week and third recipe from my Christmas cookie collection. There are nine weeks left and you will see my entire collection that I bake every year and give out to my Family and Friends.

2 Dozen Metal Cups,
One Pillsbury Pie Crust (pre-made) 2 rolls in a box.
1 can of Solo Almond Cake & pastry filling
1 egg.
1 container of dried cherries

Combine 1 can of Almond Filling with one egg. Set aside. Roll out pie shells and cut 2 inch circles. Get as many circles as possible out of your pie crust. Once you have all your circles cut, gently press the curst into metal cups and remove excess from rim. Fill cups 3/4 of the way with the Almond Filling. Put cups on a baking tray and bake at 350 for 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool and remove from metal cups and top with 1/2 of cherry.

The Mom Squad gets some girl time

There is never a loss for words when you get the Mom Squad together. We went out to Bob Evans for breakfast yesterday and 2 1/2 hours later we were still talking and had lots more to say. It was nice to get caught up with each other. This was the first time in a long time we were able to get together without the Little Rascals. The three of us met when we sent our children to 3 year old pre-school together. Our families have been friends ever since.
Have a great weekend everyone.

I’m going to catch up on some of our Family news flashes.

To ride or not to ride the school bus. ( Read the original story).

In the news over the past week there have been two stories about some horrible situations with a school bus stop and a school bus. The first one happened with an eleven year old girl. She was kidnapped from a school bus stop in South Lake Tahoe as her step father was approximately one hundred yards away in front of their house, watching her get on the bus. She was found 18 years later. Read more…. http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/08/27/california.missing.girl/index.html?i

Second incident happened in Atlanta Georgia. A naked man hijacked a school bus with students on it and crashed it into a ditch. Read more on this story. http://www.wsbtv.com/news/20588157/detail.html

OK… I will take this as a sign. He will not be riding the bus any time soon.

Kissed by a frog. (Read the original story).

The Cisco kid must have been kissed by one big potent frog. This wart has shrunk but not gone away. I am going give the recommended Compound W with Duct tape another shot.
Another one bites the dust.
This boy is losing his teeth left and right. The tooth fairy is going broke.

School Homework
We are living in an area where the schools are rated as an A school. The homework started on Monday and they already have a spelling test on Friday.

Thank you Kim from Pair Slices, Rebecca from In His Hands, K mama from The Daily Dribbles and Jamie from The Beach Family, for sharing your wonderful stories of your children. I hope to see you all next week.

Spontaneous actions

Wednesday is always good for laugh. This is the day where we could tell everyone about our children's outrageous and downright embarrassing moments we will remember and continue to laugh for years to come. It’s “What would your children say?” Wednesday.

This was so adorable. I turned on one of the Cisco Kid favorite show, Fireman Sam. He loves the adventures of protecting the people from danger. When I turned on the show he immediately ran into his bedroom and grabbed his fireman hat, gloves and flashlights. As he was watching the show he was interacting with Fireman Sam as if he was one of the crew.
More of him playing Fireman. This is his second uniform. He wore the first one out warring it so much.
His Halloween costume two years in a row was a Fireman. I wonder what he will want to be this year. Hummmmmm!!!!!
