Disney dream vacation!!!!!

This point of our lives we are all about Disney Vacations. Our little guy is into many aspects of Disney. We live so close to Disney World and every chance we get we spend it there. This time we still wanted a Disney Vacation but not at Disney World. We took a Disney Cruise. I could not recommend this cruise enough. The big benefit is..... There are no crowds. There are a limited amount of people and it makes for a spectacular adventure. The Characters make special appearances by roaming around the ship. They also have photo ops all the time in the lobby. There are so many fun activities going on all over the ship to keep the whole family happy. The food on board is amazing!!!!! The service on board is amazing!!!!!! The crew is so accommodating and makes the experience so easy. They literally wait on you hand and foot. I took a couple of days off from blogging so I could enjoy this time with my family but I just could not wait until Friday to give some fun details.

The first picture I took are of the characters on the front of the ship.  It puts everyone in the Disney spirit.
We are on our way to Nassau and it's a great view watching as the ship pulls away from land.
The second we get in open waters the party starts.  All the characters put on a great departure party.
It's fun to watch on the 24 foot screen.
When we got to our room we had a gift waiting for us from Disney.  Since we have been on a Disney Cruise before we were given a gift for returning.  They gave us a castaway club toe bag, two water bottles, three lanyards with rice crispy sandal cookies.
We went to dinner and the Chief did not want any desert.  This is uncalled for.  They were shocked he said he wanted nothing.  The waiter was going to put something in front of the Chief no matter what.  He brought the Chief a covered dish and when the Chief lifted the lid he had the word Nothing written in chocolate syrup..
On the other hand, I could not refuse the desert. They make the most spectacular desert. I got the trio which is a sample of three of their deserts. Cream puff, crème brulee and a chocolate raspberry moose. I started eating it before I realized I had not taken a picture.
Our waiter was so entertaining he did some magic tricks for us. He promised the Cisco Kid at the end of the cruise he would tell him how he did all the tricks.
He made the red napkin disappear.
Our first Character photo.
There is a play scheduled every night.  Tonight's play is called The Golden Mickey's.
When we got back to our room our beds were turned down with this swan made out of a towel.  Sooooo Cute.  Chocolates were also left for us.

Our first day at see was great.  The weather started out cool but as we headed south it wormed up nicely.
Another great day at sea post tomorrow

Spring cleaning started in the yard this year.

My back yard really suffered this year with the cold and killed lots of my plants.  The plants that did die I had to cut back to a nub and only hope they will survive.  Cutting them back all the way will give them enough strength to survive.

The Cisco kid loves working in the yard.  He is so helpful and he has a good helper.

The Chief picked up lots of much needed mulch.
The Cisco Kid wasted no time cleaning out the wooded area of leaves so the mulch could be laid down.
Now take note of his pants. These are last year’s sweatpants and sweatshirt.
In past years, I have cycled his clothes. School and sport clothes turn into next year’s play clothes. Now last year’s school clothes would not fit him at all. Luckily, these were stretch pants. This is the first year I have seen such a leap in his growth.
He cracked me up!!!! His John Deere does not have a hitch on it so he figured out a way to hitch it to the back of his John Deere.... a bungee cord.
It Works!!!!
No manual labor for the Cisco Kid.  He knows how to make others work for him.
The Cisco Kid is supervising the job not well done. Chief spilled some leaves off the side.
Off to dump another load.
I picked up some flowers and got all my flowering beds and flower pots back in shape.

Spring break Cub Scout Meeting

It's party time again!!! Now it's for the Cub Scout den. Since we are working on our Geology Pin I wanted the boys to see a documentary on volcano’s. I got a great DVD from the library. All the boys come to our house to see the movie and have a pizza party to celebrate spring break. It’s always fun going to someone else’s house to play. The boys were so excited to be here and the Cisco Kid was excited to have all his friends over to play.

When I finally got the rounded up from playing they had their pizza.  After they ate it was time for popcorn and a movie.  As you can, see they were glued to the TV.
This part of the movie is where volcanos produce precious gems and gold.
Who can guess how many jellybeans are in the jars. I had four jars filled with jellybeans and the Cisco Kid won the second guess. I asked him.... since he won a jar at school if he would consider giving his to the next qualifying number. He agreed and gave it away.
Now that everyone got their jellybeans it was time burn up some energy.
They can't end the night without a cupcake!!!
Happy Spring break and Happy Easter.

Class Easter Party.

When the children came back from lunch they were so excited to see they had a craft and jellybean contest waiting for them. They all made their bunny bags so they could fill them with all their goodies.
These children are all good!!!! The Cisco Kid is real good!!!! He won the first jar of jellybeans. His guess was 200 and there were 217 jellybeans in the jar. I insured everyone that the game was not fixed. He really came up with a great guess on his own.
He is one happy little boy with his jar packed full of jellybeans.
A traditional egg hunt is always so much fun.
They never get tired of filling their bellies up with cookies, candy and cupcakes.
