Monday is officially The Cisco Kids Birthday. We decided to celebrate his birthday on Sunday because Monday is a busy day with school and Activities I really wanted him to just enjoy the moment. Let me just start out by saying that Tuesday we went to Wall Mart. The Chief and The Cisco Kid walked around all the toy isle and took pictures of everything The Cisco Kid wanted for his birthday. A short while after they showed me all the toys The Cisco Kid wanted. There were multiple Nerf guns, Light Saber, Lego’s, Bay Blades and the list goes on. I immediately said you are only getting two gifts. This is not Christmas.
On Friday the Chief came home with The Cisco Kids birthday gifts, two Nerf Guns and the Light Saber. I think the Chief technically considers the two Guns as one gift because they are in the same toy family. I know the both of them are thinking on the same lines of.....What good is one gun if you do not have anyone shooting back.
Right after lunch on Sunday we did not waste any time in giving The Cisco Kid his birthday presents.
He was overjoyed with them. My two boys ran around the house ambushing and shooting each other.
Late Friday a box arrived for The Cisco Kid. It was a gift from Grandma and Grandpa. The Cisco Kid wanted to open it up right away. We decided it was just too late and told him to wait until morning. Well!!!! Paybacks are…You know what…. He woke us up at six a.m. on Saturday morning wanting to open his gifts. Of course we are in bed and he has this great big box in bed with us opening it up and loving everything he was pulling out. Every time we went to Grandma and Grandpas house there was this metal plane that was given to the Chief when he was little by his grandmother. The Cisco Kid would play with it all the time. That was one of the items in the box and when The Cisco Kid saw it he said this is very precious and I will pass it down to my kids. That was better than any store bought gift he could have gotten. The Cisco Kid also got his very first Gift card. This was no ordinary toy store gift card this was a gift card to purchase games for his IPod. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. The Cisco Kid loves everything and will always treasure it.

Happy Birthday CK!!! Great birthday gifts....the Nerf blasters are going to have to go on G's list too I think! :) Love the story of the special toy plane from Grandma and Grandpa, and I love that TCK recognizes how special it is and wants to keep it for his children one day. So sweet! Have a great birthday celebration at school and Happy Labor Day to you, Marianne! :)
