This was the first Thanksgiving in sixteen years I did not cook the big bird with all the trimmings. We decided to take a road trip to Ft Myers for the weekend and let a restaurant cooked the big bird. At the last minute I decided to have their Filet Mignon steak. I know.. There is nothing Thanksgiving about having a steak but I did have a side of stuffing with my steak. The Chief ordered the Grouper, The Cisco Kid ordered a grilled cheese, my mother in law ordered the Filet Mignon Steak as well and my father in law decided to stick to tradition and have the Turkey. Even though I did not cook it was a very nice weekend and I can say it gave me a break from the week long cooking I normaly do.

We should make a national Grille Cheese Day so the Cisco Kid can only eat Grilled Cheese on that day. Just as we do with the Turkey.
