Family Heritage Christmas Cookies

Every Monday from now until Christmas I will be sharing my full collection of Christmas cookie recipes with you. I know it is very early to even think about Christmas, but if I don’t start posting them now I will never get through the list. Every year I make over 12 different kinds of cookies, totaling approximately 500 cookies. I have a large family and many friends I give them to for Christmas.
If you have some Christmas cookies recipes you would like to share, I would love to see them. I will put a mr linky link so you can share.

Were back from Typhoon Lagoon

We spent yesterday at Typhoon Lagoon.

I was worried that we were going to get rained out. It turned out to be a great day. We didn't have to wait in any lines for any of the slides. We only got rained on once. It was a very hard rain and it lasted a couple of minutes. No thunder and lightning so the park stayed open. It wasn't hot. The rain cooled everything off. Since this was our 1st time going on a trip without my husband, he only called me 4 times during the 2 1/2 hour ride down, 6 times during the park. Of course I didn't hear the phone and they were all missed calls. 3 time during the ride home and one of them I was literally 5 minutes from home. When we got home the Chief was waiting outside for us. He mentioned several time he was very nervous about us going without him. It's very comforting to know that he always want to keep us safe. We arrived back home at 6:30 p.m. We had a great and exhausting time.

When I arrived back from my trip, It was great to read all the wonderful post on "What would your children say?" Wednesday

Thank you Heather from Oswald Cuties, Jamie from Beach Family, Kim from Pair' Slices, Stacy and The Harvey's for sharing those very cute stories.
