Our first Air Show, Staring The Blue Angels

This was The Cisco Kids and my first Air Show. It started at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 4:00 p.m. with The Blue Angels. We knew we did not want to stay all day so we got there around 1:30 p.m. and stayed until The Blue Angels flew. The Air Show was amazing and The Cisco Kid could not wipe the smile off his face the whole time. It has been almost 24 hours since the show and he is eating, drinking and sleeping planes and how to fly them. He met a couple of pilots and had very deep conservations with them. We all know The Cisco Kid can put anyone into a question coma. But these pilots were so happy to indulge The Cisco Kid in whatever he had to ask them.
Here is a link to some of the video I took of the Air Show.
The stunts they did were amazing.
This was the introduction Plane to The Blue Angels.
When The Blue Angels were taxiing to the runway, they passed right by us and they faced their engines right at the spectators.  There was a great feeling of how powerful the planes were, not to mention you felt all the heat from them as well.

  1. Your photos and video were incredible! I can see why TCK would be fascinated with the planes and pilots after seeing this show. How great that he actually got to talk with the pilots after.

  2. Scary, loud, not for me! :) Did you see a month or two ago when there was an air show crash right on top of the watching audience.....yeah, no, not for me! Glad YOU all had fun though! I am noticing a twinkle in TCK's he thinking that is a great activity for him one day??? Great pics!
