After dinner we went to the Fort. We got there about 2 and a half hours prior to the fireworks to make sure we got a good spot on the lawn and so the kids could play. We set up our chairs and blankets. I brought horseshoes, football and a few other games so the kids could run around and play as we were waiting for the fireworks to start.
It was a good thing we went that early. The fireworks started at 9:30 and the people started pouring in at 8:30.
It has been so long since we have been to a very large community wide event like that. The Cisco Kid and his friends had a great time.
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.

That looks a lot like the celebration we have here in our little town.
ReplyDeleteThat last fireworks shot is amazing. I love it.
Looks like a lot of fun and the fireworks look beautiful! My kids still don't want to be around them too much. I tried to get them to go to the World Golf Village show Friday night, but the wouldn't have anything to do with it! Oh well! Maybe one day! I'll have to Google Sunset Grill and see what kind of food they have. Sounds yummy! All the kids look so cute paying on the blankets!
