1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbs. corn starch
1/2 cup confection sugar.
Start by creaming the butter, almonds, sugar and vanilla together. Add flour and cornstarch. Roll into 1-inch crescent shaped cookies and place on a parchment covered cookie tray. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes or until top begins to crack. While the cookies are still worm, roll them in the confection sugar. Place on Cookie sheet to cool.

unfortunately, my hubby is the baker of the family. I may have to give this recipe to him to make for me :)

ReplyDeleteThis sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteThank you also for stopping by my place. I really love to read your "What Would Your Children Say?" posts :o) And I am interested in participating... I am behind in drawing orders this week, so was able to do a couple of automated posts for this week, for the first time! (I hope they work!)
...so will try to get on board next Weds. You're right, even though our 3 are older, they do keep us laughing!... hmmm....actually, they start me laughing by commenting about some thing I inadvertently do or say...I am so gullible sometimes!
Blessings & Aloha
Thanks for you comment also about my drawings :o)
